Who We Are – In Pictures!

If you follow us on Facebook, you’ve likely seen all of these pictures before. They capture our quaint little restaurant so well, however, that we just couldn’t help but share them with you again. Brooke Mayo from Brooke Mayo Photographers did a fantastic job snapping shots of what separates us from everyone else.

For starters, we’re all about fresh, local seafood. Food tastes best when you know where it comes from and when you control how it’s prepared. That’s why we only get our seafood and produce from local communities. In fact, our blue crabs are caught by the owner himself and go directly from the boat to our steamers!

It doesn’t get any fresher!

We’re also different from many other restaurants in the Outer Banks because we’re a family business. We have a vested interest in the Outer Banks community because we’re from here. We love locals and that’s why we’ll be open year-round. Stay tuned for oysters in the winter months!

Meet the owner’s family.

If you love crabs but hate the mess, you’ll love this next distinction most. Not only do you get to skip doing the dishes when you dine in with us, but you also get to skip the work. We’re not kidding. We pull the backs off the crabs, clean the insides out, and serve up the easiest to eat crabs you’ve ever had. You’re more than welcome to do the work yourself if you prefer but keep in mind that the service is free.

Let us shuck them for you!

What are you to do while we shuck your crabs? Enjoy a cold drink of course! We offer beer, wine, and frozen drinks. We’re like the rest of them in that way because we have to agree that nothing quite goes with hot crabs like cold beer. It’s a classic combo that’s second to none.

A match made in the Outer Banks.

If you enjoy local seafood, family-style hospitality, complete service, and cold drinks, dine in with us for your next meal. We must warn you though – it’s addicting.
